Q-Med works closely with leading Plastic Surgeons and Cosmetic Doctors to ensure best practice when performing Macrolane treatments.
Body contouring with Macrolane are effective treatments provided that they are carried out by experienced physicians with correct training in the appropriate clinical setting (a minor surgical facility approved by CQC where applicable) and with the appropriate technique.
You should ask to see your Plastic Surgeon's or Cosmetic Doctor's Macrolane training certificate before commencing treatment.
As part of Q-Med's collaboration with Physicians offering Macrolane treatment the BACD (British Association of Cosmetic Doctors) holds a register of all Cosmetic Doctors who perform Macrolane treatments in accordance with the BACD Macrolane Guidelines (developed in collaboration with Q-Med).
